The Business Analyst Role:
We are looking for creative, curious, entrepreneurial and team-oriented people who are ready to tackle a variety of challenges and are always excited to learn something new. The Business Analyst role is primarily focused on the Consulting side of our business and will have the opportunity to support Seurat Capital as opportunities arise. On typical project engagements, you would be responsible for:
- Designing, conducting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative primary research
- Interpreting insights from a variety of different data sources and helping the team think about the implications for our clients’ businesses
- Conducting secondary research to better understand changes and trends in the industry
- Supporting creation of the presentations we use to help our clients understand our insights and recommended solutions
Who You Are
- Employees come from diverse backgrounds and majors but share a strong foundation in critical thinking and complex problem-solving
- Must be comfortable with numbers and able to draw insights and conclusions from data, whether from academic classes or job/internship experience
- Ability to manage work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proven leadership and collaboration in a team setting
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to master new skills quickly
- You ideally have strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint, but this is not required
- Advanced skills in data and social media analytics are a plus, but not required
- Curious about or experienced with AI tools, with an interest in how they can unlock smarter, faster ways to uncover insights
